For airfreight shipments, consignment can be easily cleared within hours  provided that all the required documents are available in hands and customs formalities being done which include the acceptance of customs manifest by the Customs Authorities.

So far as perishable goods are concerned, they are usually cleared within hours and full set of documents are generally forwarded to customer’s freight forwarder at destination.
